Linarol-M 2.5/500 Tablet is a combination of Metformin and Linagliptin. It is an anti-diabetic medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes in adults. It improves your body's response to insulin (a hormone that helps control blood sugar levels). It also decreases sugar production, thereby lowering your blood sugar levels. Linarol-M 2.5/500 Tablet shows side effects like headache, change in taste, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, etc. This medicine can occasionally cause low blood sugar levels, the symptoms being sweating, dizziness, shivering, feeling tired, etc. Always carry a sugar source (sweets or fruit juice) with you to counteract such effects. Also, eat your meals on time to avoid low blood sugar levels. Alcohol consumption should be avoided while taking this medicine, as it can lower your blood sugar levels too. Linarol-M 2.5/500 Tablet is recommended to be taken with food to avoid stomach discomfort. Take it at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of this medicine in your body. Do not skip a dose or discontinue the treatment as it may cause an increase in your blood sugar levels. Linarol-M 2.5/500 Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it.
